Organizational learning is defined by Gervase Bushe as “an inquiry into our patterns of organizing that leads to positive change in those patterns.”
Organizational learning = increasing knowledge skill and wisdom within an organization so it can rapidly adapting adapt to meet evolving demands.

As an educator and scholar-practitioner, Lyn supervises graduate students through Royal Roads University and instructs at the Yukon College in the areas of leadership, management and conflict resolution She has designed and delivered developmental training and leadership programs for non-profits groups as well as business, First Nation, federal and territorial governments.

Royal Roads Graduate Learner Supervision

On an annual basis, Lyn supervises 2-3 graduate learners through Royal Roads University. If you are interested in working with Lyn on your Organizational Learning Project, please send a letter of inquiry that outlines your interests and action research project.

Lyn teaches courses at the Yukon College for the Justice Institute of BC.

Management/Leadership Development Programs

Lyn has been working with the Teslin Tlingit Council to deliver the Yukon College Leadership + Supervisory Skill Certificate Program. This curriculum consists of five introductory courses (2 days/course) followed by five custom designed leadership courses.

Over the past three years, Lyn has designed custom management development programs for the Department of Health and Social Services, the Yukon College and Air North.

Annually, Lyn coordinates learning tours for the Direxion Program with the Canada School of Public Service.

On a regular basis, she designs and teaches courses for the Yukon Government leadership/management development programs.  In 2008, Lyn co-designed a nine-month leadership development program for Yukon Government employees spread throughout the territory.

The Art and Practice of Feedback – skills and practices for giving and receiving feedback in the workplace.
Leadership Dynamics – a review of relevant theory and exploration of the dynamical challenges of leadership.
